Password is a test of intermediate English and
is frequently used to measures how much English
language preparation an international student
needs before beginning a university programme.

effectively discriminates between CEFR (Common
European Framework) A2 to B2 (IELTS 3.0 to 6.0).
The test has a top score of Password Plus (IELTS
6.5 plus). Results reports show percentage scores
as well as Password scores so test-takers at the
top end can be categorised IELTS 6.5 equivalent,
or IELTS 7.0 equivalent.
Password
takes one hour to complete and results are instant.
It has 72 questions in five different sections.
